About the firm

Big-firm discipline. Boutique accountability.

The firm brings together litigation, in-house counsel, financial-services and elder-law experience—then applies that perspective with the direct access and personal responsibility clients expect from a boutique practice.

The Approach

Preparation. Precision. Follow-through.

The work is grounded in a simple belief: clients should understand what is happening, why it matters and what comes next.

Every engagement begins with careful attention to the facts and a disciplined view of the decisions ahead.

Founder & Managing Attorney

Amer A. Latif, Esq.

Amer's path to founding The Latif Law Firm, PLLC ran through some of the most demanding corners of the profession. He began his career at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs company, advising on complex financial and legal matters, then practiced litigation at Goldberg Segalla before serving as Deputy General Counsel for PIP, Inc., a global corporation—experience that taught him how high-stakes matters are actually won: through preparation, precision, and follow-through.

He founded The Latif Law Firm, PLLC to bring that standard to individuals and families across Upstate New York—practicing family law, criminal defense, and estate planning and elder law with the attention of a boutique and the rigor of a much larger firm.
